Collision Repair Specialist

Hendrick Collision Center is seeking a highly skilled Collision Repair Specialist to join our team in Rock Hill, South Carolina. As a key member of our body shop team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality and customer satisfaction in all aspects of collision repair.
Job SummaryThis is a skilled trade position that requires a strong understanding of body repair methods, techniques, and safety protocols. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team to deliver exceptional results in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Examine body damage on customer vehicles and identify necessary repair work
- Estimate cost of repairs and request necessary parts
- Perform body repairs, including removing damaged body parts and replacing with fixed or new parts
- Document repairs performed and maintain accurate records
- Ensure all repairs are completed efficiently and in accordance with Collision Center and insurance company guidelines
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Participate in required training and adhere to all safety protocols
- Collaborate with Estimators and management to ensure seamless communication and customer satisfaction
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Demonstrable knowledge of body repair methods and techniques
- Ability to operate equipment necessary for collision repair functions
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferred
- At least 5 years of experience in collision repair; training or certification in body repair methods a plus
We offer a competitive salary range of $50,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
