Rose Paving LLC is seeking a skilled Asphalt Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and condition of our fleet of heavy equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Vehicle Inspections and Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections of our vehicles to identify potential issues and perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns.
- Equipment Repair and Maintenance: Diagnose and repair complex issues with our heavy equipment, including diesel engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems.
- Supply Management and Inventory Control: Manage our inventory of vehicle parts and supplies, ensuring that we have the necessary materials to complete repairs and maintenance tasks.
- DOT Compliance and Safety: Ensure that all vehicles and equipment are in compliance with federal and state regulations, and that our maintenance practices prioritize safety.
Requirements:
- Class A CDL License: A valid Class A CDL license is preferred, but not required.
- Technical Skills: Skilled in supply management, inventory control, and the use of mechanical inspection tools.
- Knowledge of DOT Compliance: Knowledge of DOT compliance, laws, rules, and regulations is helpful.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and completion in preparing and entering information.
- Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to develop and maintain positive relationships with operations team members.
