Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at HexaQuEST Health, Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cardiac ultrasonography and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Perform transthoracic echocardiogram (TTE) exams and document patient and test data.
- Manage time and workload fluctuations, and adapt to changing clinical situations.
- Complete billing for tests performed and utilize and maintain departmental and hospital equipment.
- Take ownership and responsibility for individual performance and complete other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Two years of formal training or education beyond the high school level in Cardiac Ultrasonography.
- Certification required: Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification.
- Registration required: American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) registry in accordance with Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) guidelines.
- NH State licensure for Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy is required.
- At least one (1) year of experience in Cardiac Ultrasonography is required.
Work Schedule: 40 hours/week, four 10 hour shifts or five 8 hour shifts M-F schedule with occasional weekends required.
Special Requirements:
- Upon Acceptance, NH State licensure for Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy is required.
