Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Rehabilitation team at Concord Hospital. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and education to individuals with heart and lung conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct initial evaluations for Cardiac Rehabilitation Program and Pulmonary GOLD
  • Provide group and individual education on disease process, medications, and risk factors
  • Manage patients in distress and provide clinical monitoring
  • Communicate with referral sources and Medical Director as needed
  • Meet department productivity standards and document departmental requirements
Requirements
  • Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification
  • State of New Hampshire Registered Nurse licensure
  • Ability to effectively interact with multidisciplinary staff, patients, and others
  • Knowledge of growth and development across the life span
Work Environment

The physical demands of this role include regular lifting, carrying, or pushing/pulling less than 10 pounds, frequent lifting, carrying, or pushing/pulling up to 10 pounds, and occasional lifting, carrying, or pushing/pulling up to 20 pounds. The employee is frequently required to bend, perform repetitive motion, hear, kneel, perform activities that require fine motor skills, reach, sit, speak, squat, stand, and walk. The employee is occasionally required to climb. Specific vision abilities required include depth perception, far vision, and near vision. The employee is frequently exposed to vibration and occasionally exposed to airborne pathogens, bloodborne pathogens, bodily fluids, electrical hazards, moving mechanical parts, and slippery surfaces.
