Job Description:

As a Cardiac Sonographer at Tekfortune Inc, you will be responsible for producing high-quality ultrasonic recordings and Doppler flow analyses of heart and related structures for use by physicians in diagnosis and study of heart disease.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform transthoracic echocardiogram (TTE) exams to provide accurate diagnostic information.
  • Document and maintain patient and test data to ensure accurate records.
  • Manage time and workload fluctuations to meet departmental and hospital expectations.
  • Assess patients and adapt to changing clinical situations to provide exceptional patient care.
  • Complete billing for tests performed to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Utilize and maintain departmental and hospital equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Take ownership and responsibility for individual performance to meet departmental and hospital expectations.

Requirements:

  • Two years of formal training or education beyond the high school level, in Cardiac Ultrasonography.
  • Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification.
  • Registration with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) in accordance with Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) guidelines.
  • NH State licensure for Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy.
  • At least one (1) year of experience in Cardiac Ultrasonography.

Working Conditions:

  • Hours are 40 hours/week, four 10 hour shifts or five 8 hour shifts M-F schedule with occasional weekends required.
