Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Civil Engineering Project Manager to join our team in Nashville, TN. As a key member of our engineering team, you will work on designing sustainable transportation projects and collaborating with other disciplines to create innovative solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Manage transportation projects from design through construction, ensuring successful project delivery and providing technical expertise to the team.
  • Implement best practices and process improvements to enhance project delivery efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Mentor staff and contribute to internal professional development and training.
  • Provide leadership and technical expertise to the Engineering team, collaborating with other disciplines as needed.
  • Prepare schedules, budgets, and scope of services for projects.
  • Support regional leaders in business development and provide quality control over team deliverables.
Requirements
  • 12+ years of experience as a Transportation Engineer in a consulting environment or public entity; 5+ years as a Project Manager; 3+ years managing staff.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Professional Engineering (P.E.) license or TE (Traffic Engineer) licensure.
  • Experience in and knowledge of active, non-motorized transportation.
  • Demonstrated understanding of project management principles, methods, and techniques.
  • Ability to guide staff members and manage internal team expectations.
  • Excellent professional ethics, leadership skills, accountability, and decision-making capabilities.
