Stormwater Consultant

Oldcastle Infrastructure is seeking a highly skilled Stormwater Consultant to join our team. As a field technical expert for our Stormwater product line, you will work closely with civil engineers, municipalities, land developers, and governmental agencies to provide expertise and generate specifications and leads for our sales organization.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategies to grow the detention solution market
- Collaborate with the Regulatory Management team to obtain regulatory approvals
- Manage case studies and industry influence through targeted speaking engagements
- Act as a local technical resource and provide technical support to customers and engineers
- Generate high-quality specifications and sales leads to drive revenue growth
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations to customers and prospective customers
- Confer with customers and engineers to assess product needs and determine system requirements
- Perform detailed analysis and specification development for potential customers
- Read and interpret shop/engineering drawings and plans to recommend solutions
- Recommend improved products or solutions to customers, highlighting cost savings
- Manage the project pipeline using CRM software
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and technical expertise
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with key accounts
- Perform market research and stay current on industry trends
- Build strong relationships with internal sales partners and coordinate activities to understand customer requirements
- Attend local Engineering Association functions and trade shows
- Assist in identifying and researching new products as needed
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Influence and persuasion skills to drive business growth
- Information seeking and research skills to stay current on industry trends
- Relationship building and communication skills to work effectively with customers and internal stakeholders
- Negotiation and business acumen skills to drive revenue growth
- Learning agility and adaptability to stay up-to-date on industry trends and technical expertise
- Planning and priority setting skills to manage multiple projects and responsibilities
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of technical sales experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 25-50% within the region
