Analytical Duties Include:
Conducting comprehensive data analysis, encompassing enterprise architecture, systems engineering, and technical support.

Executing risk assessments, which include cyber threats and infrastructure vulnerabilities, as well as incident management.

Aligning requirements and capabilities with available data to comprehend and mitigate risks to essential infrastructure.

Evaluating systems and assets to pinpoint risks that could lead to cascading effects.

Providing planning assistance, including strategic planning and program oversight.

Engaging in analytical writing and data visualization.


Assisting with potential workload increases to adapt to shifting priorities due to new and updated risk management initiatives that align with the evolving mission landscape.


Required Qualifications:

Education and Experience:
A minimum of 12 years of experience with a BS/BA; or 10 years with an MS/MA. Alternatively, 16 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.


At least ten (10+) years of experience in a Critical Infrastructure and/or engineering discipline (systems, nuclear, biochemical, civil, or chemical), operations research, and/or advanced computing (including AI); with demonstrated expertise in the engineered systems central to the 16 Critical Infrastructure (CI) sectors as defined in PPD-21.


Proficiency in applying Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) principles and frameworks (e.g., COSO, ISO) to manage operational risk in both public and private sectors.

Experience in developing, enhancing, and implementing Risk Registers and establishing Risk Register governance in various sectors.

Experience in communicating and documenting methodologies for risk prioritization.

Experience collaborating across sectors in Critical Infrastructure and in inter-agency settings where coordination was vital for success.

Ability to understand the socio-technical implications of potential changes in the strategic operating environment concerning critical infrastructure.


Capability to demonstrate proactive risk identification and management, including formulating potential mitigation strategies related to critical infrastructure security and resilience.

U.S. citizenship is required.

Active TS/SCI clearance is necessary. The selected candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a favorably adjudicated DHS background investigation (EOD) for continued employment.

Compensation Range:
$146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
