Job Summary

The IT Support Specialist plays a crucial role in providing technical assistance to end-users, ensuring seamless operation of hardware, software, and network systems.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Provide first-line support for hardware, software, and network issues, utilizing expertise to troubleshoot and resolve problems efficiently.
  2. Configure and set up new desktop computers, peripherals, and software applications, ensuring optimal performance and functionality.
  3. Educate end-users on the effective use of desktop applications and systems, promoting best practices and troubleshooting techniques.
  4. Collaborate with the IT team to escalate and resolve complex issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption.
  5. Assist in IT projects, providing technical expertise and support as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Education: High School Diploma
  • Certification: A+, Net+, Sec+, CCNA preferred
  • Knowledge of the TCP/IP Model
  • Proficient with the Windows Operating System
  • Familiarity with hardware components and peripherals (printers, scanners, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot problems
  • Effective communication skills, including both written and verbal
