Position Overview

The Retail Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in supporting the daily functions of our retail establishment. Responsibilities encompass sales performance, enhancing client interactions, scheduling, and protecting store assets. This position entails oversight of a specific operational division.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive and surpass daily sales targets utilizing key performance indicators.

  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop actionable strategies that optimize financial performance.
  • Comprehend the overarching ethos of Lilly Pulitzer, including lifestyle branding, client demographics, product offerings, and heritage.
  • Embrace and embody the Core Values and Leadership Qualities established by Lilly Pulitzer.
  • Foster a selling culture that prioritizes exceptional client experiences.
  • Effectively address client-related concerns, escalating to the Store Manager when necessary.
  • Oversee designated operational responsibilities and be accountable for performance metrics.
  • Communicate corporate updates, initiatives, and announcements to the retail team.
  • Provide immediate coaching with clear, actionable feedback.
  • Encourage team participation in collaborative selling to enhance client satisfaction.
  • Ensure accuracy in cash handling procedures in accordance with operational guidelines.
  • Uphold Lilly Pulitzer's visual and operational standards as defined by the Visual and Retail Operations teams.
  • Safeguard store assets diligently.

Qualifications

A minimum of 2 years of experience in the fashion or retail sector is preferred.

Demonstrated supervisory, communication, and customer service capabilities.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Capacity to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft and Apple technologies.

Familiarity with XStore and Tulip is advantageous.

Physical ability to remain active and navigate the store throughout shifts.

Capability to lift up to 20 pounds.

Additional Information

This role is classified as full-time, non-exempt, and hourly. An average workweek of 40 hours is expected.

Eligible for overtime and standard company benefits.

Flexibility in working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, may be required due to business seasonality.

Collaboration with colleagues in alignment with our Core Values and Leadership Qualities is essential.

Compliance with company policies and the Code of Conduct as outlined in the Employee Handbook is mandatory.
