Job Qualifications

Education: A minimum of elementary school education is required. Relevant job-related experience may be considered in lieu of the educational requirement on a 9 months for 9 months basis. Candidates should possess the ability to operate moving and cleaning equipment.

If a sufficient number of qualified candidates do not apply, the minimum qualifications may be adjusted without reposting.

Additional Qualifications/Requirements

This is an intermittent position requiring 3 to 34 hours of work per week. Required hours are Monday to Saturday between 6:00 AM and 8:00 PM; Sunday between 10:00 AM and 7:00 PM.

Salary Range

Minimum: $17.40

Maximum: $20.31

Key Responsibilities

- Off-loads moderately heavy to heavy merchandise and supplies from incoming delivery trucks and other conveyances.
- Assists in unpacking merchandise and stocking shelves following specific instructions.
- Transports merchandise within the facility using hand tools, pallet jacks, dollies, or hand trucks.
- Loads merchandise and supplies onto customer or delivery vehicles as per clear instructions.
- Performs limited price marking of merchandise.
- Operates hand and powered lawnmowers to maintain grass; may prune small trees and bushes using hand tools.
- Moves and arranges furniture, equipment, or fixtures as directed.
- Collects and empties garbage cans, washes and waxes vehicles by hand or using powered equipment, or shovels snow from walkways.
- Actively promotes the benefits of the Military Star credit card to customers to enhance sales growth and customer loyalty.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
