Logistics Operations Coordinator

The Logistics Operations Coordinator will provide support to the U.S. Army Counterintelligence G6 with Property Management. This position may involve physical activities such as lifting equipment, reaching, bending, and kneeling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the organization's procedures for the procurement, receipt, distribution, and disposal of IT assets and supplies. This encompasses maintaining control over delivered items, registering orders and equipment in relevant databases, notifying customers of equipment arrivals, scheduling installations, transporting equipment to installation sites, preparing equipment for setup, executing installations, and managing final disposal.
  • Execute logistics tasks under the supervision of the organization's CMB and/or logistics manager, in collaboration with the TTM (Technical Task Manager).
  • Maintain the organization's IT Systems hardware and software asset inventory in accordance with the Government's Configuration Management Databases (CMDB), ensuring an accuracy rate of at least 95%.
  • Provide weekly documentation to the TTM that confirms the reconciliation of warehouse, procurement, logistics, and asset management activities, which will be utilized to update the organization's inventory system with precise and consistent data.
  • Oversee the transportation of classified and unclassified intelligence IT equipment and materials, including spare parts, to meet task order requirements. This includes managing spare part inventories, shipping and receiving materials, tracking purchases, and overseeing material storage.
  • Ensure compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) for the shipment of controlled materials.
  • Address customs issues related to global transportation of IT materials.
  • Implement supply discipline by adhering to the Command Supply Discipline Program (CSDP).
  • Participate in integrated logistics support management team meetings, program management reviews, and other relevant discussions.
  • Configure, install, test, certify, and troubleshoot network infrastructure cabling.
  • Ensure compliance of network cabling infrastructure with current NIST and TEMPEST standards.
  • Diagnose and resolve network infrastructure issues across various networks.
  • Update cable run sheets and related documentation as necessary.
  • Interpret system installation drawings and apply that knowledge to cabling installations.
  • Promote a safe working environment and enforce safe work practices.

Required Qualifications

  • Clearance Requirement: Top Secret/SCI with a willingness to undergo a CI Polygraph.
  • Education Requirement: High School Diploma/GED with 8 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's Degree with 6 years of experience, or a Bachelor's Degree with 4 years of experience.
  • Knowledge/experience with GCSS-A (Global Combat Support System-Army).
  • Familiarity with the Financial Liability Investigation of Property Loss (FLIPL) process.
  • Valid U.S. Driver's License is required.
  • Must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
  • Intermediate Level II certification in the acquisition career field of Acquisition Logistics.
  • Ability to lift objects up to 30lbs and perform moderately strenuous activities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience with the Army, ACIC, or INSCOM.
  • DoD 8140 requirements: Security + certification.
  • Intermediate Level II certification in the acquisition career field of Acquisition Logistics.
