Department Overview:
The Center for Biotechnology and Genomic Medicine (CBGM) is at the forefront of interdisciplinary research, focusing on advancing predictive, preventive, personalized, and participatory medicine. Our research initiatives are primarily centered on two key areas: the discovery and validation of biomarkers for disease prediction and diagnosis, and the exploration of pharmacogenomics for personalized medicine.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute a variety of experiments to analyze specimens for diseases and pathological conditions.
- Prepare and manage culture media, incubate and culture microorganisms, and perform molecular biology techniques.
- Oversee and mentor junior lab members, ensuring adherence to research protocols.
- Assist in the preparation of publications and grant proposals under the guidance of the Principal Investigator.
- Engage in additional duties as assigned by the Principal Investigator.
Qualifications:
Applicants should possess a Master's degree in a relevant field such as chemistry, biology, or biochemistry, along with experience in research or clinical laboratory settings. Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree combined with a minimum of three years of relevant research experience may be considered.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with genetic, molecular, and cellular biology techniques is highly desirable. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software is expected.
