Job Description: Baptist Health Lexington offers a rehabilitation program for inpatients and outpatients with skilled physical, occupational, and speech therapists providing personalized care to recover from surgery, injury, or manage chronic conditions.

Physical Therapist Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and treat patients with personalized care plans and set goals for recovery.
  • Complete accurate documentation according to national and state regulations, and hospital and departmental policies.
  • Assist with the education of affiliating students, department staff, hospital staff, and the community.
  • Delegate to and supervise physical therapist assistants and technicians.
  • Participate in departmental operational planning.
  • Provide support for patients with impaired mental abilities, vision, hearing, or mobility.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Current License by the Kentucky State Board of Physical Therapy.
  • Basic Life Support Certification within 90 days.
