Job Description

The Store Leader is responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences by providing fast, safe, efficient, and friendly service. This role ensures compliance with company standards and maximizes sales by achieving sales and labor goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Train, develop, and direct team members to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance.
  • Maintain accurate sales records, control merchandise and supply distribution, and ensure team member safety and security.
  • Assist in achieving sales and labor goals to maximize sales.
  • Perform opening and closing store procedures, daily banking, cash handling, and loss prevention procedures.
  • Comply with guest service and merchandising procedures, and maintain proper stock levels.
  • Ensure a valid driver's license and reliable transportation for store banking procedures.
  • Reflect Weigel's image by interacting professionally with guests, associates, peers, vendors, and home office personnel.
  • Process deliveries in accordance with company standards and safeguards.
  • Ensure safety standards are met and maintain a positive and productive atmosphere.
  • Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to work with guests, respond to inquiries or complaints, and communicate effectively.
  • Ability to work with other store associates as a team.
  • Basic computer skills to perform clock in and out procedures and company paperwork.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Prior retail experience is preferred.
