Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Medical Assistants, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Registered Nurses to join our medical team at Ohio ENT & Allergy Physicians. The ideal candidates will have excellent interpersonal skills, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean and organized environment in examination rooms, procedure rooms, and instrument processing room.
  • Clean and sterilize instruments, maintain diagnostic equipment, and ensure a smooth workflow.
  • Instruct patients regarding preparation for diagnostic tests and procedures.
  • Perform medical assisting procedures under supervision of, or as delegated by a physician.
  • Take baseline vital signs and patient history.
  • Evaluate new patient charts prepared by the front desk.
  • Answer incoming phone calls, assist with patient call backs, and call in prescriptions under the direction of the RN/MD.
  • Professionally greet all patients and escort them to clinical areas.
  • Manage electronic health records and alerts/flags.
  • Provide discharge instruction/education to patients and review handouts with patients.
  • Assist other members of the clinical team with all patient care activities.
Requirements
  • At least 1 year of experience in a medical office environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of electronic health records and practice management software.
  • Ability to operate a computer and basic office equipment.
  • Ability to operate a multi-line telephone system.
  • Knowledge of sterile technique.
  • Adherence to all HIPAA privacy and security regulations and guidelines.
Education and Certifications
  • Medical Assistant Certification, LPN Certification &/or RN License.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Current CPR Certification required.
