Certified Medication Aide

Full-time - Night Shift

Franciscan Ministries is seeking a dedicated Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to enhance our vibrant senior living community. Our facility provides a range of lifestyle options, including independent living, assisted living, and specialized memory support. We are committed to delivering exceptional care through our onsite rehabilitation clinic, which offers comprehensive physical, occupational, and speech therapies aimed at improving the quality of life for our residents and patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer medications in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Execute all treatments following policy standards and physician directives.
  • Provide personal care assistance as needed or directed.
  • Monitor and report any changes in residents' physical or emotional conditions to the licensed nurse.
  • Ensure a clean and safe environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
  • Participate in a minimum of 12 hours of annual in-service education.
  • Uphold the dignity and well-being of each resident and their families.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Certification as a Qualified Medication Aide.
  • At least one year of experience in caregiving.
  • Availability for night shifts, including every other weekend and rotating holidays.
  • A passion for working with the senior population.
