About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team at FTI Consulting, where we focus on delivering strategic, operational, and financial solutions to our clients. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in addressing the full spectrum of financial and transactional opportunities faced by corporations, boards, private equity sponsors, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply sales and marketing, manufacturing, supply chain, and procurement expertise to drive transformational projects, including merger integration engagements.
  • Develop and implement operational recommendations and detailed plans using Six Sigma, Lean, and similar methodologies.
  • Lead client teams in developing operational plans and identifying synergies during merger and transition planning.
  • Apply business and analytical skills to various client situations and practice disciplines, including operations improvements, make vs buy analysis, spend analysis, strategic sourcing, and operational due diligence.
  • Perform merger integration tasks related to sourcing, procurement, manufacturing, and distribution synergy evaluations, including understanding potential benefits, costs, and value drivers.
  • Develop high-level plans for the first 100 days, set up program governance, and create Day 1 plans to take control.
  • Implement fully mobilized integration teams with prioritized opportunities and quick wins, and refocus on capturing originally envisaged benefits.
  • Maintain detailed working paper records and ensure quality products and timely delivery.
  • Prepare written analyses and reports for third parties, as necessary, on project scope, findings, and results.
  • Research and organize information for effective data access and analysis.
  • Maintain a professional image within the company and project same to those outside.
  • Supervise day-to-day activities, including interaction with team members, professionals, and client personnel.
Basic Qualifications
  • Minimum of 12+ years relevant experience.
  • Experience in Six Sigma.
  • Proficiency with PC environment and related software, including Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong analytical skills, including data analysis and ability to synthesize and draw relevant conclusions.
  • Travel required to clients and to FTI office(s).
Preferred Skills
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Effective interpersonal communications, including active listening.
  • Project Management skills and ability to work independently in fast-paced environments.
  • Flexibility with respect to assigned tasks and engagements.
  • Six Sigma, Lean, or CPIM certifications preferred.
  • General knowledge of corporate finance, supply chain, and manufacturing principles and terminology.
  • Experience in procurement and sourcing, including spend analysis, sourcing, outsourcing, category management, negotiations, supplier management, procure-to-pay process, and sourcing tools.
  • Ability to travel 80%.
  • MBA and Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or other quantitative field preferred.
