Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director to join our team at AbbVie. The successful candidate will serve as a trusted strategic advisor and counsel, providing critical support to our leadership team. This role will be responsible for managing the communications platform, internal and external communications, and overseeing strategic business initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and improvement.
  • Manage the master calendar, ensuring seamless coordination of key leadership meetings and events.
  • Maintain accurate records of contacts, distribution lists, and electronic files for the VP.
  • Oversee budget and expense management, including agency budget, purchase orders, and invoice reconciliation.
  • Lead project management for internal and external initiatives, including event planning, strategic initiatives, and governance processes.
  • Streamline processes to increase efficiency and productivity, while promoting a culture of innovation and excellence.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 5+ years of experience in the pharma industry, with a proven track record of strategic planning and operations.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a matrix organization and effectively present ideas and document complex processes.
