Job Title: Manager, Systems Integration and Testing

Job Summary:

L3Harris Technologies is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our Systems Integration and Testing team. As a key member of our Communications Systems segment, you will be responsible for managing a team of engineers, ensuring the successful application of integration and testing policies, and supporting the hiring and staffing needs of the department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of approximately 20 engineers, providing performance management, training, and professional development.
  • Execute workforce and staffing plans to ensure the availability of human capital necessary to accomplish departmental business results.
  • Have hiring and compensation authority within the department, in accordance with management review and approval.
  • Manage staffing performance issues, including PIPs, under review of the Sr. Engineering Manager and HR.
  • Lead new employee onboarding, including IT requests, check-ins, and logistics for new hires.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
  • 3+ years' experience in managing high-performance engineering teams.
  • 5+ years' experience in the integration and test of secure military communications systems.
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance.

Preferred Skills:

  • 5+ years' experience with system integration and test of complex communications systems in a multi-disciplinary environment.
  • 5+ years' experience with allocation of system requirements to test requirements.
  • Experience with DOORS or JIRA.
  • Experience with test automation development and frameworks.
  • Familiarity with RF, mechanical, and electrical engineering disciplines.
