Overview:

The Surgical/Med-Surg Unit at Mercy Hospital Ardmore is a dynamic and fast-paced environment that requires a skilled and compassionate LPN to care for patients recovering from surgery. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to develop a wide range of skills, including wound care, chest tube management, and medication administration.

Our patients are typically here for a short stay, and our nurses work 12-hour shifts to provide around-the-clock care. We are a fun and friendly team that values teamwork and collaboration.

Requirements:

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
  • Licensure: Current LPN license within the hiring state
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to stand/walk most of the time, with significant bending and stooping, lifting, and turning patients with assistance
  • Experience: Can be new or experienced LPN
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
