We are seeking a skilled and compassionate LPN to join our Surgical Med/Surg Unit team at Mercy Hospital Ardmore. As a LPN on our unit, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients, including those recovering from surgery and those requiring medical-surgical care.

Unit Overview:

The Surgical Med/Surg Unit is a fast-paced and dynamic environment where you will have the chance to develop a wide range of skills, including wound care, chest tube management, and medication administration. Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and support, and we are looking for a LPN who shares our commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care, including medication administration, wound care, and vital sign monitoring
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care transitions

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
  • Current LPN licensure in the state of hire
  • Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts and participate in on-call rotations
