Essential Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- No prior experience necessary; training will be provided
- High school diploma, GED, or college degree not required
Desirable Qualifications:
- At least one year of relevant experience preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Visit job sites to instruct on shipping, receiving, and inventory protocols
- Conduct audits at job sites and yards to ensure compliance with shipping, receiving, and inventory standards
- Provide virtual support to job sites for updating inventory documentation
- Collaborate with purchasing to evaluate cost-effective options for shipping existing stock or acquiring new inventory
- Develop a regular travel itinerary to assist with site inventory counts
- Train field personnel on shipping, receiving, and inventory management procedures
- Reconcile physical stock counts with computer-generated inventory reports
- Allocate assets as required
- Manage asset reservations
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on tracking loose items or missing inventory
- Generate reports as needed
