We are seeking an Aquaculture Feed Nutrition Specialist

Are you enthusiastic about animal health and nutrition? Prairie AquaTech, an innovative technology firm, is focused on improving feed components for various animals. By leveraging advanced patented technologies developed in collaboration with South Dakota State University, we convert soybean meal into high-quality ingredients for aquaculture and other animal feed applications.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist the Aquaculture team with facility upkeep and operational tasks.
  • Support data collection efforts for ongoing research initiatives.
  • Engage in husbandry practices and the harvesting of aquatic species.
  • Help maintain life support systems and equipment.
  • Willingness to work occasional weekends and holidays as required.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Capacity to lift weights up to 50 pounds and sustain good physical condition.
  • Preferred experience in construction, machinery operation, carpentry, and related fields.
  • Familiarity with MS Windows 7, MS Word, and MS Excel.
  • Self-driven, accountable, and detail-oriented individual.
  • Organized, analytical, and capable of following instructions accurately.
