Your Mission

We are in search of a skilled Lead Cloud Solutions Architect to enhance our expanding Cloud Architecture & Engineering team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in developing a wide range of cloud solutions and will be driven to collaborate with our clients, partners, and team members to propel business success. In this role, you will partner with Caylent's Engineers, Delivery Managers, and Engagement Managers to implement AWS cloud solutions for our diverse and innovative clientele. You will engage with some of Caylent's most strategic enterprise clients, utilizing cutting-edge technologies to help them realize their innovative visions.

Your Responsibilities

  • Collaborate in a dynamic team environment, providing expert recommendations to establish foundational cloud architecture, identify scaling opportunities, and address cost efficiency and security vulnerabilities.
  • Design, develop, and integrate sophisticated DevOps pipelines, encompassing build automation, CI/CD, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), security protocols, monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
  • Initiate new client projects and engagements.
  • Create enterprise technology solutions focused on DevOps, Cloud (serverless environments), API management, and Container Management, ensuring performance and stability through Agile methodologies.
  • Engage in ongoing project work while exploring new initiatives (R&D).
  • Develop long-term strategies with clients to implement cloud best practices.
  • Guarantee high-quality project delivery and client satisfaction.

Your Qualifications

  • Over 5 years of experience as an Architect in Enterprise organizations, preferably in a consulting role.
  • Exceptional ability to convey technical objectives and solutions to clients while fostering professional relationships.
  • Proven strategic and critical thinking skills regarding business, products, and technical challenges.
  • Strong expertise in developing applications using Serverless Frameworks, API Gateway, S3, SNS, SQS, CloudFront, and Lambda.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS and Serverless environments.
  • Experience in implementing IaC within AWS.
  • Advanced skills in DevOps automation, including containerization and multi-cloud solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • A passion for working in a startup environment and a willingness to be cross-functional.
  • A natural curiosity and enthusiasm for learning new technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Migrations, CI/CD, IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS CDK, Pulumi, etc.), Scripting, Containers (Kubernetes, Docker, ECS, Fargate, etc.), Cloud Security Best Practices, Networking, and incident management processes.
  • Experience in agile project environments.
