We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Springfield Hospital Inc. as a Radiologic Imaging Specialist.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnostic Imaging Procedures: Perform a variety of diagnostic radiographic procedures to produce high-quality images for medical diagnosis and treatment.
- Work Area Maintenance: Conduct daily checks of the work area to ensure a safe and efficient environment for patients and staff.
- Department Support: Perform departmental ancillary functions to support the smooth operation of the radiology department.
- Patient Education: Provide education to patients on radiographic procedures and imaging results, ensuring they understand their medical condition and treatment options.
- Professionalism: Maintain a high level of professionalism and quality in all aspects of work, adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
- Education: Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology.
- Certifications: Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and current VT Radiologic Technologist license.
- Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and possessing strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
