Overview:

The Advanced Radiologic Technologist - CT Specialist will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Conducting diagnostic imaging procedures and computed tomography scans.
  • Performing routine inspections of the imaging environment.
  • Executing ancillary departmental responsibilities.
  • Delivering educational support to patients and healthcare personnel.
  • Upholding professionalism and standards consistent with radiologic practice.

The Advanced Radiologic Technologist must complete a probationary period before commencing CT training, which is subject to the discretion of the Diagnostic Imaging Director based on scheduling and availability.


Qualifications:
  • Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Enrollment in CT distance learning courses.
  • Possession of a valid Radiologic Technologist license in Vermont.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers.
  • Current certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in CT.
  • CT certification to be achieved following two years of training.
Work Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts.
