Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our Dining Service team as a Dining Service Partner. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring a seamless and enjoyable dining experience for our residents.

Key Tasks:
  • Take beverage and meal orders from residents, coordinate with the kitchen, and serve according to established standards.
  • Address any issues or concerns that may arise during meal service.
  • Maintain all safety and sanitation rules and regulations to ensure a clean and healthy environment.
  • Clean floors, empty trash cans, stock food supplies, wash and sanitize dishes, and clean all other parts of the work area and equipment as needed.
  • Perform general cleaning of the dietary department, including vents, ovens, vent hoods over ovens, and outside garbage areas.
  • Organize stock and make deliveries as needed.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with residents and staff.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
  • Prior experience in washing dishes and general cleaning of industrial/restaurant kitchens.
  • The ability to obtain and hold any local, state, and/or county required food handling/sanitation licenses and/or certificates.
  • A valid First Aid Certification and the ability to work on-call emergency situations and weekend coverage on a rotating basis.
  • The ability to understand and follow directions.
  • The ability to understand and meet standards for health, safety, and excellence.
