Job Title: Therapist - Dual Diagnosis

Job Summary:

Davis Behavioral Health is seeking a part-time Dual Diagnosis Therapist to work in the Davis County Receiving Center located in Layton, Utah. The successful candidate will provide risk assessments, evaluations, safety plans, treatment plans, and recommendations for treatment. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a crisis setting, be able to complete risk assessments, safety plans, and evaluations within a brief period of time, and make clinical recommendations for continued care.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide risk assessments, evaluations, safety plans, treatment plans, and recommendations for treatment
  • Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary treatment team to include psychiatrists, nurses, recovery support specialists, psych techs, and case managers
  • Complete ASAM dimension criteria as part of the evaluation process
  • Have experience working in a crisis setting and be able to complete risk assessments, safety plans, and evaluations within a brief period of time

Requirements:

  • Master of Social Work degree from an accredited university
  • Preference given to candidates licensed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Utah
  • This position may also be filled with a Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CMHC), Marriage & Family Therapist (MFT), or under-filling with a Certified Social Worker (CSW) or Associate Clinical Mental Health Counselor (ACMHC) who is nearing completion of full clinical licensure
