About the Role:
GardaWorld is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Armed Security Officer to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for providing a safe and secure environment for our clients and their assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Observe and survey the area to identify potential security risks and provide reporting on activity at your assigned location.
- Provide rapid response in critical situations, utilizing your training and expertise to de-escalate conflicts and ensure the safety of all parties involved.
- Enforce customer procedures, regulations, and standards, while providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive experience for all clients.
- Read and write detailed reports, accurately documenting incidents and providing clear, concise information to stakeholders.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g. law enforcement, security management) preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a security-related field, with a focus on law enforcement or risk management.
- Valid firearms permit and ability to obtain any necessary certifications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
