Athletic Trainer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Athletic Trainer to join our team at UNC Health Care. As an Athletic Trainer, you will be responsible for providing medical care and support to student-athletes, as well as developing and implementing injury prevention and treatment programs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide medical care and support to student-athletes, including injury assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation.
- Develop and implement injury prevention and treatment programs, including taping, strapping, and bracing.
- Collaborate with coaching staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure the health and well-being of student-athletes.
- Maintain accurate records and reports of student-athlete injuries and treatments.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in athletic training.
- Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline.
- Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) certification.
- Licensed as an Athletic Trainer by the North Carolina Board of Athletic Trainer Examiners or license eligible.
- One (1) year of experience as an athletic trainer preferred.
