The Fleet Maintenance Specialist is responsible for conducting routine vehicle maintenance and replacing commonly worn parts, as well as providing tire services. In this role, you will establish location-based service operations and collaborate with fellow technicians as part of a cohesive service team.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Executing scheduled vehicle maintenance and replacing common wear and tear components, along with tire services.
  • Setting up location-based service operations and collaborating with other technicians as a unified service team.
  • Conducting vehicle inspections according to established procedures and liaising with fleet management staff and central office team members.
  • Diagnosing and repairing vehicles to ensure customers can drive away with confidence and peace of mind.
  • Providing repair estimates for additional automotive services.
  • Maintaining service equipment, including the stocking of parts, fluids, and proper disposal methods.
  • Being part of a team that prioritizes customer satisfaction and effectively resolves technical issues.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by the regional manager.
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position for 50% of the time.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 pounds.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • A minimum of 3 years of recent professional automotive repair experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of technical school or proof of relevant work experience.
  • ASE certifications, particularly in light-duty, or technical school credentials are advantageous.
  • A valid driver's license with a clear background check.
  • Willingness to work a night shift schedule.
  • Familiarity with repair shop software (AllData, Mitchell 1, etc.) is preferred.
  • Experience in fleet services and working on panel vans is a plus.
  • A commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience.
