Position Overview

As a Fleet Repair Specialist, you will be responsible for the meticulous restoration of vehicles, ensuring safety, efficiency, and adherence to industry standards and company protocols.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough disassembly of vehicles to assist in damage assessment and the creation of a comprehensive Repair Plan.
  • Identify all necessary repairs to prevent additional costs and reduce overall repair time.
  • Follow the work order meticulously for all tasks assigned.
  • Remove interior components, accessories, and other elements to access damaged areas, ensuring safe storage of parts to prevent damage.
  • Repair vehicle bodies by utilizing techniques such as hammering, filling, and welding; ensure proper alignment and fit of all components; replace damaged parts as required.
  • Utilize various hand and power tools effectively, including welders, cutting torches, and spray guns.
  • Prepare surfaces for painting by filing, grinding, and sanding as necessary.
  • Inspect and test drive repaired vehicles to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards; clean and prepare vehicles for customer delivery.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and standards set forth by the company.
  • Perform additional duties as needed, including shop maintenance and vehicle cleaning.
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Strong communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, estimates, and work orders.
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Possess a friendly demeanor and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
