Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Kitchen Support Cook. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving nutritious and attractive meals to our students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve meals in accordance with established menus and recipes.
  • Assist with meal production, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Assist with daily dishwashing and equipment maintenance.
  • Operate the point of sale system and assist with revenue collection.
  • Coordinate and implement sales promotions and special events.
  • Assist in the coordination of events and activities.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Successful completion of ServSafe Certification Training (highly recommended).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.

Working Conditions:

The kitchen environment can be fast-paced and physically demanding. The successful candidate must be able to work in a team environment and maintain a positive attitude in a dynamic setting.
