This role encompasses a range of essential tasks aimed at enhancing growth, service objectives, and profitability for Field Sales within a branch of the American Automobile Association.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional customer service to members and insured individuals.
- Assist walk-in and telephone inquiries regarding insurance services.
- Facilitate the sale of memberships and support insurance sales to potential clients.
- Aid members with modifications to existing policies or memberships, including renewals and billing inquiries.
- Process payments for memberships and insurance policies.
- Confirm insurance coverage for lien holders and leasing entities.
- Provide documentation as requested.
Administrative Duties:
- Perform typing and other clerical tasks, including letters, forms, and evidence of insurance.
- Generate leads for office sales agents and life specialists.
Communication:
- Maintain positive and effective communication with all team members.
- Foster an open and constructive relationship with management.
Problem Resolution:
- Address member and insured-related issues with discretion and independent judgment.
- Escalate complex complaints to higher-level Insurance Specialists or Sales Management as necessary.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED required.
- 1-3 years of customer service experience preferred.
- Moderate proficiency in data entry is essential.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel is preferred.
- Advanced customer service skills are a plus.
- Property and Casualty/Solicitors License required.
- Valid Property and Casualty Insurance License in the selling state must be obtained within one year.
