We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Civil Engineer I/II to join our team at Toole Design. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality multimodal transportation infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities- Support an interdisciplinary team to develop project scopes, concept plans, and final construction plan documents for quick-build multimodal transportation infrastructure projects.
- Utilize drafting programs such as MicroStation to fulfill project deliverables and ensure that projects are consistently of the highest quality.
- Collaborate with a diverse team to develop project scopes, concept plans, and ultimately deliver final construction plan documents.
- Work closely with key department leaders within the City of Austin's transportation department to set clear project goals and outcomes.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in civil/transportation engineering.
- 0+ years (Engineer I), 2+ years (Engineer II) of transportation facility design experience, with a demonstrated interest in developing construction documents.
- Experience with Computer Automated Design (MicroStation/AutoCad).
- Interest in multimodal and active transportation issues and design (specifically for bicycle, pedestrian, Safe Routes to School, and/or transit integration) for all ages and abilities.
- Excellent task and time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience with the Microsoft Office suite of applications.

- A flexible schedule of 40 hours a week, with the option to work from home 2-3 days per week.
