Job Title: Civil Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team in Austin, TX. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in civil engineering principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for working on diverse projects that enhance communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, analyze, and oversee civil engineering projects, including roads, bridges, drainage systems, and land development.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineers to develop project plans and specifications.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, site assessments, and environmental impact analyses.
  • Prepare technical reports, proposals, and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and industry standards.
  • Utilize CAD and other engineering software for design and modeling.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide updates on progress and challenges.
  • Mentor junior engineers and interns, fostering a collaborative and educational environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or the ability to obtain one within 2 years.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in civil engineering design and project management.
  • Proficiency in civil engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in teams.
  • Knowledge of local zoning laws, environmental regulations, and construction practices in Texas.
