About the Role

Curative is seeking a highly skilled Medical Trauma Specialist to join our team at a Level II Trauma Center in Santa Barbara County. This is an exceptional opportunity to provide life-saving care to trauma patients and be part of a dedicated surgical team.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $200,000+, inclusive of a guaranteed base salary, productivity incentives, quality incentives, and an annual CME allowance. Additionally, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement, paid malpractice, medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.

Job Responsibilities

As a Medical Trauma Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing 24-hour care to over 1500 trauma patients annually alongside the emergency department
  • Managing trauma and acute care cases, ensuring optimal patient outcomes
  • Collaborating with emergency medicine physicians, trauma surgeons, midlevel providers, and support staff to deliver comprehensive care
  • Participating in call shifts: 8 x 24-hour shifts per month
