Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Care Technician to join our team at Arkansas Children's. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Obtain vital signs and measurements, and provide or assist with basic care and activities of daily living.
  • Assist with ED/clinic visits, patient admissions, discharges, and transfers.
  • Help with customer service needs and communicate patient/family information to other healthcare team members.
  • Act as a courier between ancillary departments as needed.
  • Perform clerical duties such as serving as a receptionist, managing telephones, and obtaining supplies and equipment.
  • Ensure patient supplies and equipment are organized, clean, and properly restocked.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Related field experience - 1 year
  • Recommended certifications: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Registered Medical Assistant
