We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food and Beverage Shift Manager to join our team at Zia Park Casino Hotel Racetrack. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day management of our food and beverage outlets, including supervising staff, managing inventory, and maintaining high standards of customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and manage food and beverage staff to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food and beverage products.
- Develop and implement effective scheduling and labor management strategies to meet business needs and control costs.
- Monitor and control inventory levels, manage stockroom operations, and maintain accurate records.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including food safety and sanitation standards.
- Collaborate with the Food and Beverage Manager to develop and implement business strategies, including menu planning, pricing, and promotions.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Associate's degree in Hospitality, Food Service, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in food and beverage operations, preferably in a casino or hospitality environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, management, and guests.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
