About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team at Belmont Village Senior Living. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care and support to our senior residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Provide hands-on assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) to assigned residents, promoting independence and dignity.
  • Encourage socialization and participation in community activities, fostering a sense of belonging and connection among residents.
  • Document care and services provided daily, following customized service plans and communicating with supervisors about any changes in care needs.
  • Ensure care, safety, and cleanliness standards are met, adhering to regulatory compliance.
  • Provide assistance with toileting, hygiene, and incontinence care as needed.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficient in verbal and written English.
  • Experience as a primary caregiver or relevant training as a care provider.
  • Ability to work a defined schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Preferred Skills and Characteristics
  • At least one year of direct care experience in an Assisted Living, Memory Care, or Skilled Nursing community.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions while working as part of a team to achieve a shared goal.
  • Self-directed with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Observant, dependable, adaptable, and respectful.
