Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to provide exceptional patient care and support to our orthopedic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical assisting and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist physicians and other healthcare professionals with patient examinations and procedures
  • Apply casts, splints, and braces as needed
  • Prepare examination and diagnostic procedure rooms and equipment
  • Perform general clerical duties, including answering phones and responding to patient inquiries
  • Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure quality patient care and safety

Requirements:

  • Formal working knowledge equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college)
  • 1-3 years of experience in a medical assisting role
  • American Heart Association CPR Certification
  • Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program
