Orthopedic Medical Assistant Opportunity

About the Role


LifeBridge Health is seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at the Rubin Institute for Advanced Orthopedics. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our orthopedic team in delivering high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities


  • Assist physicians and other healthcare professionals in the examination and treatment of patients.
  • Apply and adjust casts, splints, and braces as needed.
  • Perform various clinical tasks, including preparing patients for procedures and maintaining examination rooms and equipment.
  • Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure quality services and patient safety.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.

Requirements


•⁠ ⁠High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Medical Assisting or related field preferred.
•⁠ ⁠1-3 years of experience in a medical setting, preferably in orthopedics.
•⁠ ⁠Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
