Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Services Assistant - Housekeeping Operating Room to join our team. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients and staff.

Responsibilities
  • Clean and disinfect surgical areas, including removal of waste and linen, washing down furniture and equipment, and mopping floors.
  • Restock and replenish supplies, including oxygen tanks, cleaning solutions, and paper towels.
  • Adhere to standard precautions and use personal protective equipment (PPE) when performing daily activities.
  • Transport patients, specimens, and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Assist with training new staff members and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements
  • BLS certification required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 1 year of experience in a healthcare environment, preferred.
