As a Sales Associate, you will embody the Bloomingdale's customer experience through engaging conversations, always welcoming and inquisitive, creating the human connection that customers seek during their shopping journey.

Sales Associates are tasked with actively engaging on the sales floor, identifying customer needs, promoting the advantages of our Loyalty programs, and enhancing the shopping experience from beginning to end.

Additionally, the Sales Associate must ensure operational excellence by utilizing our store's fulfillment system, adhering to merchandise presentation standards, and maintaining the cleanliness of the sales floor and fitting rooms.


Essential Functions:
  • Create a seamless and enjoyable in-store and online shopping experience while building and nurturing customer relationships.
  • Drive sales by effectively engaging with both in-store and online clients, leveraging technology to enhance the shopping experience.
  • Participate in merchandising and operational duties as required by the role.

Qualifications and Competencies:

High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Candidates should possess the ability to read and interpret instructional documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedural manuals. A flexible schedule is necessary, accommodating retail hours, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.


Physical Requirements:

This position requires prolonged periods of standing and walking throughout the store or department. It may involve reaching, crouching, kneeling, and requires color vision. Frequent use of computers and other technology is necessary to perform job functions, including handheld devices and cash registers, with the ability to process transactions. Candidates should be able to frequently lift or move up to 25 lbs.
