Role Summary

The Front Office Staff plays a crucial role in managing patient interactions and ensuring a smooth flow of operations within our practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage incoming calls, directing them appropriately and taking messages as needed.
  • Welcome visitors and provide them with necessary information about our services.
  • Assist with inquiries from patients and the public, ensuring a high level of customer service.
  • Maintain knowledge of staff movements and appointments.
  • Perform general administrative tasks, including document preparation and mail sorting.
  • Schedule patient appointments and organize meetings efficiently.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception and waiting areas.
  • Support the Office Manager with various administrative duties.
  • Oversee the management of the vascular clinic operations.
  • Prepare patient charts and assist with patient intake and follow-up processes.
  • Travel may be required as part of the role.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology is advantageous.
  • Certification as a Medical Assistant is a plus.
  • Understanding of insurance verification processes.
  • Proficient in administrative and clerical procedures.
  • Competent in using computers and relevant software applications.
  • Strong customer service skills and knowledge of best practices.
