We are seeking a Senior Compliance Officer for a reputable community bank that fosters a collaborative environment and exceptional leadership. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 7 years of experience in Bank Compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the development, implementation, and monitoring of the Bank's compliance programs in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Educate and inform relevant personnel, senior management, and the Board of Directors regarding compliance obligations.
  • Conduct compliance training sessions for bank employees to ensure understanding of policies and procedures.
  • Act as the primary liaison with the Bank's independent compliance audit firm and regulatory examination teams.
  • Maintain and enhance the Bank's compliance library by leveraging current technological tools.
  • Provide expert compliance advice and support to all Bank staff.
  • Collaborate with management to design new products or modify existing offerings while ensuring compliance.
  • Review and revise policies and procedures under the guidance of senior management and the Board of Directors.
  • Coordinate the annual compliance audit process.
  • Work with management to address deficiencies and enhance operational efficiencies.
  • Evaluate advertisements and new product offerings for compliance with regulations.
  • Manage the Bank's BSA Officer and oversee the BSA Policy and program.
  • Serve as the Bank's CRA officer.
  • Conduct compliance testing across all Bank operations.
  • Regularly report compliance activities, issues, and regulatory changes to the Bank's Board of Directors.
  • Oversee the training programs for employees and directors related to compliance matters.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
