Summary of Duties:

Oversee the entire Rides operation, directly managing the Rides Team Members and Team Leads. Key responsibilities include enforcing Standard Operating Procedures, recruitment, training, auditing, and managing down events. Operate various rides in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures while ensuring Guest Excellence and maintaining safety protocols.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate a professional demeanor and set an example for others at all times.
  • Assist in the recruitment and hiring of Rides Team Members and Team Leads.
  • Train and develop Rides Team Members, Team Leads, and Trainers, providing coaching as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant authorities.
  • Maintain adequate daily staffing levels and adherence to operational schedules for the assigned area.
  • Supervise breaks and ensure compliance with labor regulations for the assigned area.
  • Actively perform as Rides on Duty, ensuring a constant presence in the park.
  • Serve as the communication link between departments, management, and front-line staff as it pertains to Rides.
  • Ensure the property is in an open and ready condition each operating day prior to opening hours.
  • Maintain overall inventory levels for consumables, notifying the Operations Manager as items run low.
  • Ensure the execution of Standard Operating Procedures and Guest Excellence behaviors.
  • Address atypical situations, Guest concerns, and down events as required.
  • Complete necessary daily, weekly, and monthly documentation.
  • Fulfill all responsibilities outlined in the job descriptions of a Rides Team Member, Team Lead, and Trainer.
  • Safeguard company assets through proper use of tools and equipment while adhering to cleanliness and organization standards in work areas.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Leadership.
Job Requirements:

  • Must be at least 16 years of age. If under 18 years of age, must provide working papers prior to hire.

Rides Supervisors under the age of 18 will primarily oversee rides designed for children.


  • Previous experience as a Rides Team Member is required.
  • Must be proficient in reading, writing, and speaking the English language.
  • Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to manage time effectively and work independently.
  • Must be capable of standing, walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, squatting, stooping, pushing, pulling, twisting, and reaching above shoulders.
  • Ability to work in an environment with high levels of noise and vibrations.
  • Ability to handle high-stress situations effectively.
  • Must successfully pass a drug screening and background check.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
