Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of industrial equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and perform necessary repairs promptly and efficiently to prevent equipment failure.
  • Implement preventive maintenance schedules to reduce equipment downtime and improve overall efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance to inform future maintenance decisions.
  • Collaborate with production teams to minimize operational disruptions due to equipment failure and ensure seamless production processes.
  • Assist in the installation and setup of new industrial equipment as required to ensure smooth integration into existing systems.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during maintenance activities to protect employees and equipment.
  • Perform replacement of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical components as needed to maintain equipment performance.
  • Research and communicate with suppliers to support equipment repair and replacement needs.
  • Be flexible to work hours that support improvements and repairs during off-production hours.
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned to support the maintenance team.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as an Industrial Equipment Maintenance Specialist or similar role.
  • Ability to identify and evaluate root cause failures using various tools, schematics, and other troubleshooting methods.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Basic knowledge of PLC and CNC-based machines.
  • Proficient in using diagnostic tools and maintenance equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technical certification or degree in engineering or related field is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Ability to clearly communicate with team members.
Education and Experience
  • 5-8 years of relevant experience.
