Overview

We're seeking a skilled Obstetric Nurse to join our team in a part-time night shift role. As a key member of our Labor and Delivery team, you'll provide exceptional patient care and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Utilize the nursing process to deliver high-quality patient care, maintaining professional accountability for the assigned patients.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers and coordinate patient care with other departments.
  • Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information, adhering to our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
Qualifications
  • Graduation from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
  • Current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure, meeting all state board of nursing requirements.
  • Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion within 30 days of hire.
  • One or more of the following certifications may be required based on the position/unit: ACLS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, BLS, PALS, PEARS, S.T.A.B.L.E., C-EFM, or unit-specific certifications.
  • Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs regularly, with prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
